Obiettivi formativi

  • Inquadrare le peculiarità del processo assistenziale in area pediatrica.
  • Descrivere gli elementi generali e specifici per l’assistenza infermieristica correlata ad alterazioni fisiopatologiche dei diversi sistemi e/o apparati.
  • Far acquisire capacità per riconoscere le diverse patologie, predisporre i mezzi per attuare gli eventuali accertamenti, interpretare gli esami di laboratorio, attuare le direttive terapeutiche, programmare controlli a distanza.
  • Inquadrare i principali segni e sintomi delle malattie pediatriche più frequenti e conoscere i mezzi terapeutici disponibili e il razionale al loro impiego.
  • Far acquisire abilità di ragionamento diagnostico per la gestione di specifica casistica.
  • Inquadrare i principali sintomi delle malattie infettive trasmissibili, mettere in atto le procedure miranti a limitarne il contagio e conoscere i mezzi terapeutici disponibili e il razionale al loro impiego.

  • Describe the general and specific elements for nursing care related to pathophysiological alterations of the different systems and/or apparatus.
  • To acquire skills to recognize the various pathologies, to prepare the means for carrying out any investigations, to interpret laboratory tests, to implement therapeutic guidelines, to program remote controls.

Al termine del corso lo studente dovrà dimostrare di conoscere gli argomenti trattati durante le lezioni e approfondire in maniera autonoma le tematiche non affrontate a lezione (per motivi limitati di tempo a disposizione), facendo riferimento ai libri di testo consigliati, portando a termine tutto il programma prestabilito.

  • Verifica delle competenze di calcolo

  • Determinazione del punteggio: 1 punto a domanda
  • In caso di punteggio inferiore a 24 si consiglia di ripetere il test

  • Ricerca bibliografica sulla gestione dei farmaci a domicilio

Esame scritto

  • Durata della prova: 30 minuti
  • Argomento: tutto il programma dell’insegnamento
  • Numero di domande a risposta multipla: 47 suddivise in maniera ponderata in base ai CFU assegnati ai diversi moduli

Esame orale

Modalità di ammissione solo su superamento della prova scritta (54% delle risposte corrette per ogni modulo, pari a 7 risposte corrette su 13 domande per i moduli da 2 CFU e 4 risposte correte su 7 domande per i moduli da 1 CFU).

Argomento: tutto il programma dell’insegnamento (anche per ciò che non si è trattato a lezione per motivi limitati di tempo, facendo riferimento ai libri di testo consigliati).

Modalità: partendo dagli eventuali errori dello scritto si affronteranno le tematiche del programma.

Determinazione del voto finale: media tra il punteggio dello scritto e punteggio dell’orale

  • Se lo studente non supera l’orale il voto dello scritto viene annullato

In funzione delle disposizioni rettorali, si potranno anche effettuare esami(sia scritti che orali) in modalità mista - in presenza e/o online, sfruttando le piattaforme di Unito (Moodle, WebEx, ecc.).

Test in itinere: CLINICAL NURSING IN PHARMACOLOGY

  • Verification of calculation skills
  • Duration of the test: 1 hour
  • Number of open-ended questions: 30
  • Determination of the score: 1 point per question
  • If the score is less than 24, it is recommended to repeat the test
  • Description of the characteristics of a drug
  • Bibliographic research on home-based drug management

Written test

  • Duration of the test: 30 minutes
  • Topic: the whole teaching program
  • Number of multiple choices questions: 47 weighted according to the CFU assigned to the different modules

Oral exam

Admission procedure only if the student pass the written test (54% of correct answers for each module; equal to 7 correct answer out of 13 multiple choices questions for the 2 CFU modules and 4 correct answer out of 7 multiple choices questions for the 1 CFU modules).

PEDIATRIA GENERALE

  • Neonato fisiologico, principali quadri clinici nel neonato patologico.
  • Le principali patologie di neonato, lattante e bambino motivo di accesso dal Pediatria di libera scelta.
  • Accrescimento: controlli auxologici, sviluppo psicomotorio.
  • Alimentazione: allattamento, svezzamento, bilanci di salute in età prescolare e scolare.
  • Prevenzione sociale e ambientale, istruzione alla vaccinazione, l’introduzione in comunità.
  • Presentazioni comuni acute: febbre, vomito, diarrea, dolore, distress respiratorio, convulsioni.
  • Patologia cronica ad elevata frequenza (fibrosi cistica, asma, allergie, celiachia, cardiopatie congenite) e malattie rare con problematiche socioassistenziali annesse, gestione della cronicità.
  • Principi e gestione infermieristica di casistica legata alle seguenti disfunzioni:
  • Infezione delle alte e basse vie aeree (otite, tonsillectomia, bronchite / bronchiolite, polmoniti, asma).
  • Patologie gastrointestinali (esofagiti, reflusso gastroesofageo, gastroenteriti, malassorbimento).
  • Patologie chirurgiche: occlusioni intestinali, malattie infiammatorie croniche, appendicite, peritonite, diverticolo di meckel, invaginazione intestinale), epatiche e pancreatiche.
  • Patologie dell’apparato genitourinario (ernia ombelicale, fimosi, coalescenza delle piccole labbra, infezioni delle vie urinarie, criptorchidismo).
  • Patologie endocrinologiche comuni (deficit di crescita, diabete mellito, distiroidismi, ipertensione, rachitismo e profilassi).
  • Patologia del cavo orale: carie, stomatiti.
  • Patologia dell’apparato muscoloscheletrico: displasia dell’anca, valgismo e varismo, anomalie di postura e scoliosi.

Queste patologie dovranno essere trattate sulla base del sospetto diagnostico, della conferma della diagnosi, dell’eventuale diagnosi differenziale, del trattamento e dell’educazione sanitaria alla dimissione (semeiotica clinica e di laboratorio, strumentale).

MALATTIE INFETTIVE

  • La risposta alle infezioni.
  • La febbre: patogenesi e trattamento.
  • Razionale d’impiego degli antibiotici, antivirali e antifungini.
  • Bambino con infezioni ricorrenti delle vie aeree (otiti/faringiti/etc..).
  • Le vaccinazioni.
  • Le malattie esantematiche.
  • Linfoadenite.
  • Bambino viaggiatore.
  • L'infezione da HIV.
  • Le infezioni congenite.
  • Infezione da Streptococco e sue complicanze, quali la malattia reumatica.
  • Le infezioni nel paziente immunodepresso.
  • infezioni CVC.
  • TBC.

FARMACOLOGIA CLINICA

Farmacologia speciale:

  • Farmaci attivi sul sistema simpatico e parasimpatico.
  • Chemioterapia antimicrobica. (antibatterici, antivirali, antifungini).
  • Farmaci antinfiammatori steroidei e FANS.
  • Farmaci utilizzati nel trattamento dell’asma.
  • Farmaci attivi sul tratto gastroenterico (gastroprotettori, antiemetici, lassativi, antidiarroici).
  • Farmaci attivi sul Sistema Nervoso Periferico e Centrale: anestetici generali e locali, analgesici oppioidi, antiepilettici, curarici.
  • Anticoagulanti.
  • Diuretici.
  • Chemioterapia antineoplastica.
  • Farmaci d’urgenza.
  • Farmaci monoclonali.
  • Accenni di tossicologia pediatrica e farmaci stupefacenti.
  • Monitoraggio Terapeutico dei Farmaci.

INFERMIERISTICA CLINICA IN FARMACOLOGIA

  • Le vie di somministrazione parenterali dei farmaci.
  • La programmazione giornaliera della terapia farmacologica.
  • L’attività terapeutica e gli effetti collaterali e tossici delle principali categorie di farmaci.
  • La farmacoterapia in caso di emergenza.
  • La gestione dei farmaci stupefacenti.
  • La terapia con emoderivati.
  • Il rischio clinico e la terapia farmacologica.
  • L’educazione terapeutica nel caso di gestione della terapia farmacologica.

  • La valutazione infermieristica: esame fisico del bambino secondo il modello testa-piedi.
  • Assistenza infermieristica al bambino affetto da patologie infettive.
  • Assistenza infermieristica al bambino con patologie dermatologiche.
  • Assistenza infermieristica al bambino affetto da problemi acuti delle alte e basse vie respiratorie.
  • Assistenza infermieristica al bambino affetto da patologie autoimmuni.
  • Assistenza infermieristica al bambino affetto da alterazioni del cavo orale.
  • Le modalità di isolamento (droplets, aereo, da contatto).
  • Gestione dei più comuni segni e sintomi del lattante/bambino/adolescente: dolore addominale, faringodinia, …
  • La profilassi immunitaria attiva e passiva.

GENERAL PEDIATRICS

  • Physiological newborn, main clinical presentations in the pathological newborn.
  • Main conditions in newborns, infants and children, for accessing the general pediatrician office.
  • Growth: auxology and growth checkups, psychomotor development assessment.
  • Feeding: breastfeeding, weaning, preschool and school age checkups.
  • Social and environmental prevention, vaccination education, introduction into the community.
  • Common acute presentations: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, pain, respiratory distress, seizures.
  • High-frequency chronic pathology (cystic fibrosis, asthma, allergies, celiac disease, congenital heart disease) and rare diseases with associated socio-assistance problems, chronical diseases management and support.
  • Principles and nursing management of the following disfunctions:
    • Upper and lower airway infection (otitis, tonsillectomy, bronchitis / bronchiolitis, pneumonia, asthma, TB).
    • Gastrointestinal diseases (esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux, gastroenteritis, malabsorption diseases).
    • Surgical pathologies: intestinal obstructions, chronic inflammatory diseases, appendicitis, peritonitis, Meckel's diverticulum, intestinal invagination), liver and pancreatic.
    • Pathologies of the genitourinary system (umbilical hernia, phimosis, coalescence of the labia minora, infections of the urinary tract, cryptorchidism).
    • Diseases of the skin (acne, atopic dermatitis, rash, urticaria, mycosis / candidiasis, herpes infections, infestations: pediculosis).
    • Common endocrinological pathologies (growth deficiency, diabetes mellitus, dystiroidism, hypertension, rickets and prophylaxis).
    • Pathology of the oral cavity: caries, stomatitis.
    • Pathology of the musculoskeletal system: valgus and varus, posture anomalies and scoliosis.

These diseases and clinical pictures should be faced from different viewpoints: on the basis of diagnostic suspicion, confirmation of diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and health education (clinical and laboratory semeiotics, instrumental exams).

INFECTIOUS DISEASES

  • The response to infections.
  • Fever: pathogenesis and treatment.
  • Rationalized use of antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals.
  • Child with recurrent infections of the airways (otitis/pharyngitis/etc ..).
  • Exanthematic diseases.
  • Traveler child.
  • HIV infection.
  • HCV infection.
  • Meningitis – Encephalitis.
  • Tuberculosis and Mycobacteriosis.
  • Inborn infections.
  • Streptococcal infection and its complications, such as rheumatic disease.
  • Infections in the immunodepressed patient.
  • CVC infections.

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY

Nursing Pharmacology:

  • Active drugs on the sympathetic and parasympathetic system.
  • Antimicrobial chemotherapy. (antibacterial, antiviral, antifugin).
  • Steroid anti-inflammatory drugs and NSAIDs.
  • Drugs used in the treatment of asthma.
  • Drugs active on the gastrointestinal tract (gastroprotectors, antiemetics, laxatives, antidiarrheal).
  • Drugs active on the Peripheral and Central Nervous System: general and local anesthetics, opioid analgesics, antiepileptics, curarics.
  • Anticoagulants.
  • Diuretics.
  • Antineoplastic chemotherapy.
  • Emergency drugs.
  • Monoclonal drugs.
  • Hints of pediatric toxicology and narcotic drugs.
  • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY IN NURSING

  • The parenteral routes of drug administration.
  • The daily schedule of drug therapy.
  • The therapeutic activity and side effects and toxicities of major classes of drugs.
  • The pharmacotherapy in case of emergency.
